Mary’s was the first voice heard on HANK, and she’s been glad to be part of things from day one!
She’s been ridin’ the radio waves since 1999, bouncing up and down the dial all over the country. She grew up in Beaver, Utah, with music as her constant companion — the kind of songs that hit you right in the memory bank. Now she gets to share those same tunes with HANK listeners, which pretty much makes this her dream gig.
Mary rolled into Boise in 2021 — right in the middle of the pandemic — to serve the community as a nurse. Once the crisis passed, she dusted off the headphones, added “DJ” back to her job title, and now splits her time between caring for patients and cranking real country.
When she’s not on the air or in the hospital, you’ll find her biking or walking the Greenbelt, heading up to the mountains, or hanging out with her kiddo. She’s all about the Treasure Valley’s sweet spot — just enough city, minutes from wide-open spaces and mountain air.
If you spot Mary under the HANK tent, with a microphone in one hand and a dog in the other, stop by and say hello — she loves meeting the people who keep this place (and this station) going.
