According to the Idaho Department of Labor, wages in Ada County are up some 25% since 2019. For 2023 the statewide average wage for all occupations was $26.75. That’s a raise of 8% or $2.06 an hour in a year, but workers in Boise did better than most.
Their average hourly increase over the last year is $2.62 an hour, or 10.3%! According to the DOL website, some employers expected to attend include The Ada County Highway District, Norco, Amazon, BSU, TSA, and many, many more.
